@humtvpakistan has presented a short story called “Bandhan” which depicts the true story of the mid-twenties girls. Yamna Zaidi and Zahid Ahmed are the leading roles in the serial called Choti Choti Batain – Bandhan. This drama is based on the reality of today’s girls that wants to make their own future, but are pushed away from their aims. We, the girls of this century, want to grow our own career and our own future. But, just to avoid the horror of these worldly people about “Log Kia Kahen Gy”, we are pushed towards getting married! I personally believe that this sentence has taken many aims from the eyes of the girls.
Furthermore, this short story also discusses rejection rejected by the “Larkay Wale” for the girls who are busy in making their career without taking into consideration that maybe they first want to get settled or want to achieve and earn something on their own in life before starting a family.
Bisma’s role, playing by a young and talented actress Yamna Zaidi, is an example of an independent girl who wishes the same qualities in her life partner. Whereas, Zahid Ahmed is playing the role of Fahad as a self-made and a strong-headed guy.
Actually, it also portrays a reality that the women think about their sons like a prince or hero that no one can reject them. And at the same time, those mothers reject several girls before they decide to choose their “Kaabil Bahoo”. Moreover, the drama also describes the unnecessary questions of the Risha Aunties and the women who are searching for their “Kaabil Bahoo” must belong to a Rich family to get married with their extraordinary son.
This rishta parade never goes to end! Unnecessary inquiries have been made that are more related to the material things attached to the girl.
The drama conveys a lesson to the ladies who take an interest in other people’s matters instead of their own. We should consider such issues sensitively as well. Women can breathe independently too without worrying about “Log kya kahen gy”.
